I know is some areas now, it is almost a requirement for a bachelor’s degree for a paramedic. However, it my area, it is still new for paramedics to be required to earn an associate’s degree. I could see possibly working towards a Bachelor’s if our pay or benefits doesn’t increase. Logically it doesn’t make sense to go to school and be required to earn a higher degree, if there are no added benefits for doing so.
